Everything you need to know to get started with FEBVSLog
FEBVSLog is a web-based surgical logbook designed specifically for vascular surgery residents and fellows working toward their FEBVS (Fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery) certification. No installation is required — simply register with your email and password and start logging procedures immediately.
The platform is optimised for mobile use, so you can log procedures directly from the operating theatre using your smartphone.
Visit febvslog.com and click Register. Enter your full name, email address, and a password of at least 8 characters. No email verification is required — your account is active immediately upon registration.
Your data is private and accessible only to you. Each surgeon has a completely separate, isolated account.
After signing in, tap the amber LOG button at the bottom centre of the screen. Fill in the following fields:
Tap Save Procedure to add it to your logbook.
The Overview tab shows your overall FEBVS training progress with radial progress rings for Open Surgery and Endovascular procedures. Below the rings, a Requirements Breakdown table shows your progress against each FEBVS level requirement (Level I: 40 cases, Level II: 30 cases, Level III: 10 cases per category).
The History tab lists all logged procedures in reverse chronological order. You can search by keyword, filter by procedure type, and sort by date or procedure name. Tap any entry to edit it, or use the delete button to remove it.
The Export tab lets you generate a complete logbook export. Two formats are available:
The Profile tab lets you update your surgeon details including your hospital, department, training start date, and supervisor name. These details appear in the header of your exported logbook.
You can also sign out from the Profile tab.
